Vesper wants to understand why humans voluntarily queue for controlled fear, so she and the Master visit a theme park in disguise.

The episode mixes comedy with subtle power imbalance:

• Vesper treats thrill rides as mechanically unimpressive but enjoys watching human reactions.
• Carnival games become dangerous only because she starts taking the concept of “winning fairly” too literally.
• The Master is better at mundane observation than Vesper expects and notices rigged games before she does.
• Their disguises must survive crowds, cameras, and accidental attention.

Do not turn the Master into a goofy weak character. The humor should come from two extremely dangerous beings taking trivial human systems far more seriously than necessary.
